What kind of cars and trucks will be included? Any and all vehicles from the 1900s to 2025! All makes and models are welcome. The goal for this event is to engage the sixth graders in the history of the automobile. Once you've completed the form we will give the middle school a list of the vehicles that will be coming. The teachers and students then break down the vehicles into decades starting from the earliest to the latest vehicles that will be coming. Then the students pick a vehicle from that decade to use in studying their history, social studies and art classes. Their objectives are to discuss the evolution of cars over time, identify specific innovations that have been made in cars, what changes might be done in the future and lastly identify at least one challenge presented by today's cars with recommended solutions for the challenge.
What Is there a fee to participate? There are no fees to participate or be a spectator.
When is the deadline for online registration? The deadline is Friday, April 18 at noon. No extensions will be made as we need to provide the school with the list of participants so the students can begin their research on your vehicle.
