5.9 - 5.1032025 / Cairo Antique Rally / Cairo, Georgia
Considering rain being in the forecast for the weekend, we had a very enjoyable show. We were able to do the gaslight parade in town Friday night while it was sprinkling rain, with many of the Cairo community under awnings and umbrellas and in parked cars enjoying the parade. Saturday was a perfect day with no rain and we were able to drive the 40 mile poker run along the countryside. Some of the community people were outside watching and waving as we came by their homes. We parked our cars back at the cultural center, where all the activities were this year. I won 3rd place on the poker run, winning $25.00. Most everything was moved inside due to the rain forecast. The rain held off for us until we were coming in to Jakin, Georgia. Another great show with their same motto: “Eat and Ride and Ride and Eat.”
